Founded By David Prestwich
Stone Creek Roofing & Solar's journey began more than 14 years ago when David Prestwich, an experienced insurance adjuster, recognized a need in Cheyenne's roofing sector. David saw an opportunity to bridge the gap between insurance knowledge and construction skills. His goal was clear: establish a company that would offer superior roofing services and exceptional customer care, tackling the common challenges homeowners encountered with standard roofing businesses.
Tika Stoddard: Managing Partner
In June 2012 Tika Stoddard joined Stone Creek Roofing & Solar. Infusing the company with her extensive general construction background. A construction management graduate from Colorado State University's program in construction management, Tika rapidly emerged as CEO and managing partner. Her comprehensive industry insight and dedication to customer satisfaction enhanced Stone Creek's service delivery. Balancing her role as a mother of five with active community involvement, Tika's deep local ties and personable approach have further cemented Stone Creek's place in Cheyenne and neighboring communities.
Expanded to Colorado Springs
Stone Creek Roofing & Solar broadened its reach by establishing operations in Laramie. This calculated expansion introduced their distinctive "insurance-savvy" methodology and top-tier roofing solutions to a wider Wyoming clientele. Building on their Cheyenne achievements, Stone Creek swiftly carved out a robust presence in Laramie, further cementing their standing across southeastern Wyoming.
Record Year in Longmont
Stone Creek Roofing & Solar achieved a milestone year, assisting over 800 customers in restoring their homes to pre-storm condition. This record-breaking achievement demonstrated the company's growing impact and expertise in handling insurance claims and roof repairs. It solidified Stone Creek's position as a leader in Longmont and Colorado Springs, showcasing their ability to efficiently manage large-scale projects while maintaining their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Expanded to Wyoming

This strategic move brought their unique "insurance-first" approach and high-quality roofing services to a broader Colorado market. Leveraging their Longmont success, Stone Creek quickly established a strong presence in Colorado Springs, further solidifying their reputation across the Front Range.
